Jun 7, 2019 · Also delete your current phone from the MMI. Install Android Auto again. Connect your phone again to the car's MMI (without using the android cable). Turn off the car. Plug your phone in using the supplied cable to the car's USB and start the car again. If all goes well you may get pop up messages on both your phone and the MMI.

Sep 28, 2020 · The 8U Q3 MMI has some technical limitations with regard to storage size (32Gb IIRC) and is then picky about file formats and the character length of the file path to the folder containing the media you want to play. Nov 25, 2019 · RSQ3 Audi Connect issues Looks like I'm not the only one with Audi connect issues! Took delivery 4 weeks ago & it's taken almost 3 weeks to get the app on my iPhone to work. The MMI wants me to log in each & every time & start the car, even after a fuel fill up I've got to enter my user name & password.

Dec 5, 2022 · My CarPlay normally connects ok… sometimes I have to unplug and reconnect to start CarPlay… but recently, on iOS 16, I’ve had a new problem - intermittently, the mmi buttons (back, scrolling, etc) stop working, meaning I can’t navigate the CarPlay functions/apps. I can get it to work using Siri - just not manually.

Supposedly Audi has improved the design with a stronger material for the C7, nevertheless, may be your issue. Mar 6, 2017 · I had the issue occur after Audi UK replaced a faulty head-light xenon bulb (costing around £380 with them having to remove the front bumper). The problem is that the MMI works fine, it's very intermittent where the sound doesn't come on at all (an no the mute is not on - volume indicator works fine - just no sound) .

So i took my car in to the mechanics to get my cooling fan motor and blade replaced as well as my expansion tank and a couple hoses and also my battery on my '08 S5. When i got the car back my mmi wasnt working. The start up screen came on for a couple seconds then it would shut back off.
